I have a very nice condition FM and I put new foam seals in and it works great. I've been using it and no problem with exposures. But... The viewfinder is a bit dirty from internal foam breakdown and I'd like to get it cleaned or, better yet, have a FE type E screen installed. I would assume I'd buy the FE screen and they could grind off the tab and install it. Along with this a general CLA would be worth doing. I'm in central NY state and looking for suggestions for the work. I would think there must be someone in NYC that is reputable and can do this. Any suggestions?

B&H have compiled a list of the surviving repair shops as of a few years ago. https://www.bhphotov...ra-repair-shops

It should be somewhere to start…
