It is strange to see this thoroughfare so empty at 8 minutes to 9 PM

gallery_1251_819_128732.jpg

A similar contrast in views as yesterday, but on another square.

South

gallery_1251_819_51220.jpg

West

gallery_1251_819_460553.jpg

The difference in camera viewpoint is about 18 meters today, but the square is a much larger one...

Shooting flowers doesn't have to mean the latest aspherical apochromatic super macro lens. One can get quite pleasing results with the humble kit lens.

The 18-55mm kit lens that came with my D5500 produces great images, sharp and vibrant.  Can't ask for more really.

2 and 3 are your best for me.

The weather was wet this morning.

This man has sat here every late morning I have passed by the Sub shop since they opened about 15 years ago.

In the nearby university gardens, Geijer's muse sits at the great man's feet.

By now, the light was too harsh to capture the statue of Geijer himself.

Frames three and four are mostly just playing with the apparent perspective by letting things keystone as 16 mm on DX is far from wide enough for the task at such close quarters.

Today, there will be only two photos. Both in a square format and of the same little parish church.

I really like how the Z fc and Z50 render a sunset and the sky when there are clouds and low sun. With my current preset it has the look CT-18 used to give in the analog days. The Z6II doesn't respond to a low sun the same way.
