Upgrade from D70

I've been away from digital photography for several years. I have a D70, with a short zoom lens and a 100-300mm zoom lens, also have an SB600 and SB 800 flash units. I have never been happy with the autofocus system of the D70, do not get sharp pictures. I have sent the body to Nikon several times with no help. I would like to upgrade to a newer, better body that will be compatible with my flashes and lenses. Looking for suggestions please.
