D7500 NEFF+JPG(basic*) missing 20% of NEFF files - why?

I have changed to the mixed move with NEFF & JPG files, but I am missing 20% of the NEFF files. What is the reason for this?

Do you use the green auto mode sometimes? I think the D7500 only saves in jpg in that mode.
