Hi,

 

I'm using NX Studio with NEF files. NX Studio has a Keywords feature under XMP/IPTC.

 

I click on the "+" to add a keyword.

 

In NX Studio the keyword appears when clicking the "i" button on the bottom of the window and when viewing XP/IPTC info. If I quit/relaunch NX Studio the keyword appears.

 

Where is the "keyword" being stored?

 

I use exiftool to view all metadata but don't see the keyword. I used  -keywords+="testkeyword" to add an IPTC keyword. It then appears using exiftool (as expected) and the exiftool tab in XnViewMP. The keyword does not appear in ACDsee or NX Studio.

 

Hum. I'm no expert on metadata but this seems a bit confusing. NX Studio does make a "side file" with the extension nksc but it doesn't have any of the "keywords".

 

Any insight is appreciated. I'd like to use NX Studio to add keywords to the NEF files during processing.
