I reviewed an article under Nikon ,I believe education heading, about, you can use your Camera FX lens as usual, but you can also use this same FX lens in the

DX crop setting on camera, to give you a more longer telephoto view!!!!  Is this true, and do you loose pixel count by doing and how much???  Also can you tell me on the Nikon website where this is located, I know I saw the. video, being explained about all this. It was a male photographer.  Thanks

I wonder if this was the item you mention from the Nikon site? The explanation seems fairly robust.

Thanks that was what I was really looking for, but could not remember.    I just wanted to know also,  when using a FX camera, with a FX lens, and go into the settings and change to the DX crop mode does this reduce the number of pixels on my photos, or does the pixels ,stay the same.  Thanks
