auto fous false bokeh focus on one object rest out of focus

Example. One white house intrees (anywhere in the frame) is in focus.  Trees in back or forground out of focus. = instant bokeh.  Cant get out of it. Been thru menu cant correct.  Happens with both standard and tele lenss. Must be the camera.  Tried factory reset as well.

I am not sure about your particular lens model but some tele lenses have a switch to limit the focus range. If that is enabled, and you are trying to focus on something closer than its minimum distance, it hunts.

Did you try cleaning contacts?
