Hi,

I've followed these forums for many years, but only now have I an issue that I could use some help on please.

I've have a Nikon Z6 with a display issue - It's 'very dark' and totally unusable. I shoot a lot of video on the camera using a Ninja Atomos V, so I've never really paid attention to the Nikon's display.

I wanted to shoot some headshots today in urban settings and didn't want to be lugging the Atomos around with me, but the screen would not cooperate. The issue has nothing to do with the Monitor Mode Button or the Monitor Brightness level (5). I have the latest firmware etc...

As you can see from the attached, the camera is sending a bright/acceptable image to the Atomos, but not to the LCD Screen. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Update:

From Nikon Europe B.V.

New Monitor Unit = €276.26  (Parts, Labour & Tax)

This hurts a lot, as I have rarely ever used the monitor. I use the camera primarily for recording Scenes & self tape auditions, so I rely on the Atomos Ninja V (90% of the time). I almost never extend the monitor from it's normal position, so I'm perplexed as to why it should need replacing. I would love to hear from anybody else who experiences this problem
