One of the last of it's kind to survive, a Fire Watch Tower located in Duncannon, Pennsylvania along the Susquehanna River a mile South of Clark's ferry.  If my memory is correct, it was moved to it's present location for preservation from it's former location at Clark's Ferry.  These towers were manned by forest rangers in the summer and fall months to keep watch for forest fires.
