Hi everyone,

Just new to the forum, does anyone know how to wireless tether without a wireless network?

I'm using a D5 and WT-5

Thanks

Jason

Nikon has a wireless app - Snapbridge, I think. But it has a spotty, at best, reputation. And of course that depends on whether your camera body has the support circuitry!
I am contemplating an external monitor/screen for my D850 but that is because I'm itching to try low-level views and at 76 I am not as agile as I once was. Also seeing them used makes my covet break into high (until I see the price).
Some Android apps (Mac i avoid) _promise_ to communicate by cable to/from a tablet a camera but I've noticed that Sony's do it oftener lately.
