I visited a local vintage airplane museum this week. The exhibits covered the period from WWI to the Viet Nam era. As interesting as the many restored war birds were, the musings of this gentleman - a museum docent, a VN vet, and a former UH-1 "Huey" Crew Chief - were equally fascinating. Interspersed with his discussion of the Huey were some personal recollections of his time in-country as a 19 year old kid.

Just an observation, not looking for help. Can't seem to get the images to open directly on my Windows 8.1 machine running Firefox browser by clicking the links. OTOH, if I right click the links and select "open the image in a new tab", all is well. Go figure.

I thought those numerical strings looked a bit like the Facebook file naming convention.

I've been using Imgur since 2017.
Thanks for mentioning this site.
The first time I came across it, I thought 'ugh!'
Since using it to host this week, I realise it's better than I thought.
