D500 with battery grip lock-up

d500 battery grip lock-up

Hello everyone: New to the site. I have a D500 with battery grip and it lock-ups intermittently often enough that is a nuisance, I use Nikon brand batteries. Once it locks up , only total battery removal can reset it. Camera doesn't lock up if I don't attach the battery grip. Has anyone one experienced this problem and found a solution? Thank you.

I have not and I have a D500 with the Nikon grip. Do you have a battery in the body as well as the grip?
