I'm trying to use my D3300 connected to a telescope for Astrophotography.

It will be connected to a Raspberry Pi running an application called Kstars which amongst other things controls the camera to allow for settings such as Exposure, ISO etc.

In order to operate correctly i need to be able to use Live View and here is where my issue is.

I've discovered Live View will only work if i disconnect the cable between the RPi and he camera otherwise i get the error "Cannot start live view at current settings or under current conditions "

Can anyone please advise a workaround or if its actually possible.

Thanks
