Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, February 27 2022, post the best photo you have taken this week.
Any subject, any style and any equipment—just give us your best shot.
If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

Country Church Door Latch

I've shot this church and graveyard before, but recently noticed the unique door latch.  I did the entire door in B&W, but this latch lost too much detail in B&W so I left it in color for here.

Those look like canal boats, and quite a few fine old buildings like pictured above remain, (originally mills).  Some in disrepair, some still in good shape.

Good shooting, Pete.

Thank you.

There are 20 or so similar boats in the creek.

I've never seen it at high tide, but a local assured me it does happen - but only for 4 hours.

Every time I've been there, all the boats were sitting in the mud.

They're obviously used, looks like people live on them.

They do indeed live in them - don't know what mooring fees cost there thought.
There are several antique shops, sea food outlet & a cafe that sells very nice cake around the quay area. Nice area to visit!

A sunny but chilly day in North Texas today. I walked around the square in our town's historic district for a bit and saw these two...the girl appears curious and the boy seems to be deep in thought.

I completely forgot to grab my ND filter before heading out to Multnomah Falls.

The Sigma FP, whilst great for some things, just annoys me with the things it’s not good at. It’s going on eBay! Now what?…

A lovely day out with the dogs!  I have a hint the pups will be the subject of the Motion in March challenge...

Probably not, I have tens of thousands of dog pics and a lot feature action but they don’t tend to feature motion blur. I’ll attach an example…

You could pan them to blur the back ground or use a slow shutter speed to blur the dog running, same with about anything in motion.

My current camera does not do that kind of thing well! I was hoping to get something else but a £1000 veterinary bill is about to land on my doormat, so that’s rather scuppered that idea. But hey, there are worse things happening to people right now!

I know very well of what you speak.  We took our four dogs in last month, I was expecting around a $400.00 bill.  What I got was close to $1,000.00!  One dog needed lab work, antibiotics, and minor surgery done then, so I swallowed hard and paid it.  So goes life.
