This is in North Kent, linking the Isle of Sheppey with the mainland. Construction finished and was opened for use on 20/4/1960.

This carries a road and rail track.

The central platform can be made to rise to allow passage of large boats.

I 'cloned out' a traffic cone that had been dumped on the foreshore, spoiling the shot.
