Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, January 9 2022, post the best photo you have taken this week.
Any subject, any style and any equipment—just give us your best shot.
If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

We have everything in this one:

Orion the Hunter

A passing aircraft

A tree

Two different houses.

The moon had set two hours previously, so was missing.

Here's one I did Summer of 2020 with a D700 probably about midnight AF-S Nikkor 24-120 f4 G-ED  shot at 24mm f4 23 second exposure with the tree light painted.

First time I tried light painting, better if the scenery was more interesting.

About a year ago with a D700 AF 20-35mm f2.8 D-ED 20mm  Shot at 20mm f2.8 15 seconds.

This is the time of year for the best night sky shots!  Clear crisp nights get away from the light polution and shoot up in the sky!  I like a wider using a faster aperture setting.  I'll have to get some shots soon while the Milky Way is still at it's best.
