Hi Guys, what filter would you recommend for bringing out cloud definition and contrast, either in normal daylight or in sunset / sunrise conditions.

Say with a Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 lens on a D850 or Z 7ii camera.

I use Urth or Hoya filters generally.

Happy and healthy 2022 guys and gals.

Cheers

I would use a B+W polarizer and then do the rest in post.

Is this filter different to a standard circular polarising filter ? and if yes, would you recommend a make.

Cheers

PS I would understand if you did not want to make recommendations.

It is a standard circular polarizer, but with ground and polished glass elements rather than moulded and the rings are brass instead of aluminum. B+W is the filter brand for Schneider optics and they are premium quality. With less distortion than most.

Brilliant, I will look that up.

Thankyou

I have always assumed that all optical glass, lenses and prisms were ground.
