Hello Everyone,

I am Kevin and I am new here. I've been taking photos for some time and am finally taking courses in photography so that I don't spend my life using automatic and can make use of all the features today's cameras offer. My older camera is a D7000. I then have a Sony RX10 III (fixed focal length bridge camera) and am now hoping to get a Nikon Z7. I also have a Coolpix that sits in a drawer most of the time.

We're getting our first measurable snow fall here in the Milwaukee area as I write. Fell free to reach out with any advice about buying or using Nikon equipment. Thanks in advance and I hope everyone here has a wonderful Holiday Season!

Hello & welcome Kevin.

I often see mention of the RX10 elsewhere - seems quite popular as a light-weight (compared to DSLR + zoom) walk-about camera.

No snow in the south of England - yet. January is favourite for that!
