MD-2 issue

I have an MD-2 with MB-1 and it works fine, except I noticed that the motor counter gets to 15 and doesn't count down any further. if I manually click it past 15 it continues correctly. I'm thinking a worn gear tooth... This probably explains why my first roll got ripped off the cartridge at the end.
