Hello everyone!
I'm going to be performing a test at work and part of it includes recording a laser beam shining onto steel rulers to measure flex of one of our assemblies using a green (520nm) laser level.
My concern is that the reflection (not a direct hit) off the rulers might damage the camera sensor. The camera(s) will be in record mode for several minutes while we slowly apply force.
Has anyone here had any experience along these lines? I'm looking into buying filters, but I need to see the beam on the ruler so I'm not sure how this is going to pan out and damaging several $600 cameras is NOT preferred.
