D6 Battery with configuration problem

Hello to all.

I bought a spare battery to my D6. By the time of instalation, the machine can not set ON and it presents at the screen the sign of > Empty Battery < charge. But the battery was first charged in full at the original charger MH26a.

Can someone give me a hint how to solve this problem?

Is it an original Nikon battery or third-party?
If it has been deep-discharged in storage, a calibration cycle on the MH-26A might wake it up.
