Ok, besides the obvious one: take more photos?

Mine is to pay off my credit cards in full, and to try and only use debit and paypal this year, not a credit card!!

Lose weight, and take more pictures.

I'm pretty sure I can accomplish at least one of those. Can you guess which one?

Do more miles on my road bikes, I got in only 7000 km this year.

Work more in the studio with classic portraiture, I can't get people to calm down and relax because I stress about lighting and shadows.

I hope they are doable...

/Peter

Don't make New Years Resolutions... I make a resolution every morning when I wake up to be better than the day before... :-)

In the photography area, increase my sales and visibility, shoot more winter sports (my least favorite), make contact with some other potential clients and HOPEFULLY shoot a few pro games this year.

Other than that, I'll be happy to get my youngest successfully out of high school and into college!

Learn more about flashes and how to use them for professional looking portrait taking and as well how to use them out side for other types of shots. Also to travel where the eagles, osprey, and grizzly's are. Oh and buy a D400. :)

Yes, you better get some more clients if you're going to be springing for college tuition!

Did you mean a D4? I've never heard of a D400.

My wife and I did this a few years back... it will change your life! We only buy what we can afford (amazing concept now-a-days!) and only keep a very small credit card around for online purchases and emergencies. It took about 2 years to do from start to finish but once you pay off one card and fold that payment into the next you'll start clearing them up very quickly. Good luck!

We are in this camp too--we are fans of Dave Ramsey and have used this method to pay off all cars and credit cards. It's a great feeling!

Resolution: to learn lighting!

You can start by checking out the December issue of Digital SLR Photography. It's got two lighting features: one on smaller studio kits, and one on using flashguns for portraits.

I want to put into practice all that I learnt during the tail end of last year.
