found 3 nikkor lenses at a yard sale, they are AF with 4 then 2 blank then 1 contact. They came with a N 6006 film camera. Will they work well on a newer digital models. the film camera has a broken back door.

The AF should work on any modern body except the D3xxx, D5xxx and the mirrorless bodies with the FTZ as these don’t have a focus motor. We can’t give any opinion on whether the optical performance is good enough for today’s sensors without knowing what lenses they are.

A list of the lenses would be helpful. That said, they should be compatible with with any Nikon camera that has a focus motor.
