My first camera was a Nikon EM. I would sometimes mount it to a tripod (which I still have) and attach the cable release it. Then I'd try to take night shots. I actually got pretty good, both with the standard 50mm lens and a 80 - 300mm zoom. With my Coolpix P500 I can go to 36x zoom but not swap lens. I'd like to use it with a telescope. Any suggestions how to go about this?
