New to my D5600.

When using a single point to focus, the camera sets an initial point, but I want to move it and can't figure out how to do this.

Is it even possible?

For changing the focus point:

1/ choose AF-S or AF-C mode
2/ press the shutter button half way to see the focal point appear
3/ use the navigation button on the rear to move it around (the same that you use to scroll through your photos)

On the rear you have also a switch with an L-position. L standing for ‘AF position locked’, the swith must NOT be on the L-position toi be able to move the focus point.

Jerry,

Sorry this took so long, but this is precisely what I was looking for.

And, very well said!

Thank you
Michael
