Leaning its capabilities and shortcomings of my new Coolpix P1000 is like a baby learning its superpowers.  All my other Coolpix were bought to take pictures for eBay listings.  This one is for nature.  So far I have found YouTube very helpful to learn these things.  I'm just saying "Hi: here since the site asked me to.
