Tips on Getting Images Tack Sharp

Don't know why, but I don't seem to be getting my photos tack sharp, and am wondering why. I have a D810, and don't ever use ISO over 650 if I can help it. I'll admit I don't always use a tripod, when maybe I should. See example below. If anyone else has this problem, would love to hear from you. Thanks!

What lens?

Aperture?

Shutter speed?

ISO?

 

Have you fine-tuned the AF for this body/lens combination?

A few questions:  What is your f-stop?  What is your shutter speed?  Where is your focus point?
