Please see the below links to pictures which I took with my Nikon Coolpix B600. I had the same problems with my Coolpix S190. If a Black Vulture or Black Vultures are on the walking path close to me, the pictures come out fine, but up in the trees, I get these very bad quality pictures. The camera didn't misinterpret the lighting—I saw the birds the same way with my own eyes. I used both auto mode and scene auto selector and the results were the same.

So, the next time I see Black Vultures up in the trees, is there some setting I can use with my B600 that will show what the birds actually look like?
