I am having issues down loading pictures from a CFExpress type b card. did the firmware update on my D850 last december and have just purchased 2 64 gb cfexpress cards from B&H the camers seems to work fine. I formatted the card in the camera first then started shooting, but my computer is not transfering the files to my hard drive form the card i remove the card place it in a cf express card reader. its then hit and miss if the computer will read the files. All the files show up in windows explorer but will not show thumbnails. my normal workflow is to open the files in a photo viewer to cull poor images then transfer to my network hard drive with Nikon transfer, then import to Lightroom, but the photo viewer will not show all the images most of the time it only shows 1 thumbnail, then Nikon transfer does nothing at all when i click "Start Transfer" everything just freezes. Yet if i download from the camers via USB cable the transfer seems to happen. Is anyone else having problems with CFExpress cards or does anyone knoe of a solution for this issue. I went for CFexpress asit claims faster reading speeds but so far it is usless.
