I'm ready to chuck this 5600 because no matter how often I clean it - and it is stored in a case, the damn mirror and view lens (top plastic piece with ridges in it) always have crap on them.  

Are all Nikons like ths?  I'm ready to chuck it for a Canon.  

Any suggestions on how to clean it better?  I've use air, and vacuum plus some lent free swabs to no avail.  I can get it clean for a while, but inevitably some scrap of lent or dirt creeps in.
