Just wondered about mirrorless cameras, if you ar'nt looking through the lens, when you look through the viewfinder, wont the subject always appear the same, whether you have a 30mm prime lens attached or a 400mm telephoto lens.

The viewfinder in a mirrorless camera is a small monitor and displays the output from the sensor.
