The Jazz-Club will open in July after a long forced break. For this summer, they have
decided to launch the season under the umbrella of a great all-jazz summer festival
under the big trees in the city park - or indoors in case of rain. In the meantime, the
groups are warming up and practicing in a room where they have to respect the 3 m
distance imposed on them.

I have been assigned to furnish the festival page but I must admit that the lighting
conditions are quite awful. In 6-hour shifts and twice a day, the groups that come
will be there for my lenses... we'll do our best.

According to the brief, the images will be in B&W. I will work with focal lengths of up
to 300 mm and, given the conditions and the purpose of the project, everything will
be captured with the D3S. Having started on Monday, I already have some shots

Keep a lo0ng focal length on that Sax player.  It looks like he's going to explode, or at least pop an eyeball out, and that could get messy. :o

As usual, good work, and excellent photos.

beautifully captured mood!

all 3 of them, the 2nd one being my favourite.

PS temperatures over here already down to just over 20°C .

Edit: missed the next set.

Same applies though  :)

Easy you say, Bart?
I was 34.6°C in the shade again for both shoots today. It

really gets easier after a shower and cooling off at PP! :P

:) hence the "look" easy

I remembered the heat and the difficult lighting.
