Strange mark on some images 70-200 f2.8

Hi guys.
I’m getting a strange crescent shaped light mark on only some of my images during shooting in the sun.
I’ve tried covering the eye piece, where the lens mount is and using my hand to assist the tulip but on some images I get this mark on the right hand side of the image.
