Of my 4 children, 2 were present for the first grill of the season.

They prepared plates to their liking that I couldn't resist photo-
graphing in the daylight on the patio table. The pressure was on
and my time was quite short... they were hungry and the food
should not get too cold.

Perhaps you could go into a bit of detail on the food?   That's what we're really interested in!

… and all the way I thought it is a photo forum!  :o

The first, my daughter's plate, frankfurter dressed in bacon and
a piece of indescribable processed meat she never had at home.
The rest is recognisable.

My son's plate: italian ham on bread and… I don't know what is
that stuff at 11 o'clock on the plate. Not a gastronomic menu if y
ou ask me

I had a T-bone steak, potatoes, salad and opened a good bottle of
Cabernet-Syrah.

Next time, you should drop in, krag!  :P
