My AF VR-Nikkor 80-400 1:4.5-5.6D lens is not working with my new Z6 with the FTZ adaptor.  I know it is functioning properly as my Nikkor 55mm is working just fine.  My settings won't even go to the auto focus setting and only remains on manual focus.

The older version of the 80-200 that you have doesn't have a focus motor built-in and relies on the screw-drive coupling to a motor in the body. The FTZ doesn't provide this. You need AF-i, AF-S or AF-P lenses for AF to work with the FTZ.
