Hello,

Now I have a new problem with my Nikon D750! The shutter speed will go below x200 but not above in Manual Mode or Shutter Speed Mode. It will go above that in Aperature Priority Mode.

I have tried everything that I know including calling Nikon. Do any of you great Nikon people have a clue what might be going on.

I have not been using a flash but I have been taking long exposure photos using bulb and have set the U! and U2 positions to bulb.

Please anyone.....

Try turning the dial all the way in the opposite direction.

Is the flash symbol in the bottom right corner in the viewfinder active?

The shutter speeds faster than the sync speed being unavailable points to the camera "thinking" there is a flash attached or active.

You could try raising and lowering the pop-up flash and cleaning the hotshoe contacts with De-oxit Gold.

Thank you Nikonian,

No there was not a flash symbol active. I tried raising and lowering the pop-up flash and cleaning the hotshoe contacts... to no avail. Shutter speed still can not go above x200. I am now thinking the camera is broken.. bummer. But thanks so much for your help.

Have you tried doing a factory re-set?

I know they're rare these days, but is there a real camera shop within driving distance of you?  Maybe they could help.
