I've had a D90 for a long time and rarely used it. Just a few days ago, I started watching some videos to learn photography theory to take better photos. In one of the videos, the guy said that, when in auto focus and P mode, its a good pratice to half press the shooting button to only trigger the focus, adjust the angles of the photo while half pressing and then full press to get the photo. But, in my camera, when I half press the shooting button, it starts auto focusing and right after it finds focus, without me needing to full press, it shoots. Am I able to disable it or its a defect in my camera?
