"Please tell me when to say OUCH!"

The doctor showed a smile in her eyes, sat down again telling me what
very rare discomfort to expect the next three days: a slight pain in the
arm, possibly some headaches… do not perform any hard physical work
over the weekend. "You may put your jacket back on again, we're done!"

WHAT? No blood, no sweat, no tears? She had a short laugh and confir-
med the date and time of the second one.

I was so excited to get it and all I have to show for now is a ridiculously
tiny plaster on the upper arm. "C'mon, I am (up to now!) a covid survivor!"
I should have a plaster with some colours on it at least.  rofl.gif

Fully vaccinated here. Unfortunately, I did have a reaction to the second shot (Pfizer) but I somehow lived through it.

I encourage everyone to roll up their sleeves and take the medicine. As Bones McCoy would say, it's the human thing to do.

Some might just prefer the Klingon approach… what do I know?  rofl.gif

Depends on whether or not you're a Klingon, I guess. rofl.gif

Had the AZ shots in February and May, and a booster shot on Thursday. The AZ shots were relatively painless, the booster was Pfeizer and had me feeling a bit sick for most of the weekend. Apparently the reason for that is that it makes antibodies a lot faster than the other injections, which is good from the point of view of protection, not so good from the point of view of feeling like crap for a while.

We just got our boosters a couple of weeks ago and, once again, I had a reaction. Fortunately, it didn't last as long as the second shot... which really threw me for a loop... but I was uncomfortable for a couple of days.

I encourage everyone, who hasn't already been vaccinated, to get the shots. Whatever discomfort I felt is minuscule compared to a full blown case of Covid.
