Between work, Covid, and my Daughter going into Final Exams- not much time for picture taking.
Several years ago we had fox pups in a sinkhole in the backyard. One most have grown up, and returned.
Nikon Df, first-version 500/8 Reflex-Nikkor. I've owned this lens for over 40 years. Never let me down.

We had a long day at the Gettysburg Battlefield Friday. The day was warm enough with a sweater. moving clouds meant some sun at times. I'm guessing between 200-250 captures between two D700's and a D750 covering most of the 25 square mile battlefield. At ;east one more trip planned this summer. Some road changes to one way to facilitate parking at points of interest and the Park Service did some controlled burning recently ridding some key spots of weeds, brush and under-growth, (visitors love climbing on Little Round Top and Devil's Den). I only got a few photos downloaded from one D700 before the computer began dumping them in strange places, but here's a few from the south end of the Battlefield.
D700 with Nikkor 80-200 f2.8 D lens.
Mississippi Memorial marking the position where Gen. Barksdale's Mississippi Brigade launched their assault against the Union left on the evening of July 2 1863. Barksdale himself was mortally wounded in the assault and died the next morning in Union hands. One of the most dramatic monuments on the Battlefield.

Gen. Warren on Little Round Top, (about a mile in front of the Mississippi Memorial). Warren was the Union's eyes on the southern end of the field operating a signal station there and warned of an impending attack on the afternoon of July 2. The V Corps was rushed to the position tying into the III Corps left. By the day's end elements of the II Corps and VI Corps would join in the fight on the Union left and center. July 2 proved the deadliest day of the Battle.
Devil's Den taken from the west slope of Little Round Top. The Confederate assault came from beyond the Emmitsburg Road to the west in an angled sweeping formation, the Rose farm and Devils Den being hit early in the fighting.
View looking W-N-W from Little Round Top toward Sherfy's Peach Orchard, (which became known as ''Artillery Hell'') and Rose's Wheat Field, (A Malestrom of Death to those on both sides who fought there).
View 2
The Pennsylvania Memorial, looking north from Little Round Top, the center of the Union line where Pickett's Charge took place on July 3. The camera compresses the scene, the Memorial is almost a mile north of the shot, (200mm).
Flowering trees on the south slope of Big Round Top, (very little action here).
More when I get the computer straightened out and the D750 downloaded.
