Not sure if anyone could help. My Nikon D800 suddenly stopped working. Bought it second hand, currently has over 87K shutter count. I rarely use it. Fully charged battery.

What do you think happened?

Thanks,

Leo

Sounds like a power failure if all three displays are dead. Probably the battery contacts or the power switch.

My D800 did the same. Would just freeze up, and go dead. Eventually it would decide to come back to life. I never really solved it, but i did read things like, the battery wasnt fully charged when it went in, maybe update your SD card, due to buffer issue? I did neither, and now it goes fine. Sorry no help really
