I had the camera with me most days this week, but didn't feel inspired and got nothing worth sharing. Better luck next week.

Like the past two weeks I had plans on producing something new, but other things got in the way with closing down the shop and looking to retire at Midnight, 04-22-21!
I have plans on a Gettysburg Battlefield visit on Friday if the weather holds out....with my entire kit! If things work out, you guys will be given a grand tour of what is now one of the most beautiful places on earth, nurtured and cared for from the ashes of a very ugly and violent scene that cost the lives of some 11,000 men, aprox 7,500 killed out right, and another aprox 3,500 who would die of wounds suffered there. As 12 year old Matilda, ''Tilly'' Pierce, a resident of Gettysburg described the original scene as a ''Strange and blighted land'' in her memoirs. I hope my modern DSLR Nikons can convey a bit of the modern day beauty of the place as the old wet plate cameras did in capturing the scenes of brutality and carnage of what it was just after the battle.
