Since buying my D7200, I haven't used my old D50 for many years.  However, when I went to use it last week, I noticed that EVERY photo has a heavy magenta cast, regardless of exposure.  Happens in all modes, PSAM

Any ideas at what would be causing this?  Is it the end of it's life?

Unless you have somehow managed to set a really screwy white balance, this is a sensor problem.

Thanks very much for that.  The white balance was set on auto, but then I tried all of the other white balance settings, then back to auto, and it seems to have magically fixed the problem!  Why would that happen?

Well done Merco for solving that one.
