Hi. I'm looking to get a D750 now that prices are falling. I've noticed that some models listed online have WiFi while others do not.  The ones without WiFi are cheaper. Are the ones without WiFi regional items where it's disabled? I'm not sure why Nikon would make some models with it and some without it.

Also, is it worth bothering with SnapBridge? I've read a number of reviews saying its either a mediocre product or a real PoS. If that's the case, I just won't bother and will save a bit of money.

thanks in advance

In the US, the ones without wifi are grey market.
I thought SnapBridge was free?

@pebblzNnutz: Thanks. Actually what I meant by "save a bit of money" is that the non-WiFi versions of the D750 are a little cheaper. But not by much... maybe ~$150 or so. I think I'll just get the WiFi version to have it. Maybe Nikon will suddenly up its game and put out a superior smartphone app.

I have used the Fuji iOS app for a few years with an X-T2 and while the app is a little buggy, it can be convenient to have for photo transfer and remote shutter.

The D750 uses WMU, not SnapBridge.

@merco_61. Thanks. But ugh. I just looked up the reviews on WMU. Looks like a steaming pile of poo. I guess I'll skip it.

Why can't camera companies devote a little more of their resources to building decent apps?
