Spent a few cold hours shooting some skateboarders at Chuck Bailey Skatepark in Surrey BC. Nice group of chaps there.

All photos taken with my D800 and 24-70 2.8 & 70-200 2.8 VRII:

Great shots.  I love the way you stopped the action.  It really makes it look like those kids are defying gravity.

Nice, first one is great - very "urban". I like the treatment for this type of shoot too. Care to share what you did with them?

Thanks Russ. It's a bit difficult to share the treatment for them as I use a series of presets  created a few months ago (and don't really remember what I used to create them). I did start with an amazing preset kit that I purchased from SLRLounge and build my own presets with them, really recommend the SLRLounge preset kit.

If my memory serves me correct I increased the exposure by +1, some minor desaturation, a small blue tint, increased the detail and sharpness about 50% and used a heavy vignette to offer the increased exposure in the surrounding areas.

Cheers

The first photo was at 1/1000 but the rest were much higher. I'll go edit the OP with the EXIF details.
