Hi, I have a D750 which has a huge shutter count but has worked perfectly until today.

Now the preview/ menu monitor doesn't work although it does if used as a live view monitor.

Worse than that, when I switch the camera on I can hear an audible click and the viewfinder goes dark as though the Depth of Field preview button is pressed down.

Iv'e checked and there doesn't seem to be any obstruction around the button

Please has anyone had anything similar and is there an easy ( inexpensive!)  solution?

Thanks

Do you have more than one battery? Does the camera do this with different batteries?

If a battery is weak- this can happen. At least verify that it is not just a battery problem,

Adam - you may want to move this to the FX space...
