Hi, I have a Nikon F2AS with MD3. My motor drive not stopping. What's the problem? How can I repair it?

The MD-3 (unlike the MD-1 and MD-2) doesn't have a rewind feature (it was the "budget" motor drive for the F2), so you don't need to remove the door opening cap.

The MD-3 uses a nylon gear that is infamous for breaking. Sover Wong in the UK is well known for repairing F2 and accessories.

You might try contacting him, or looking for an MD-2.
