We were doing some streaming using the d780 as a third camera, unmanned for a static view. We could not get the d780 to output to hdmi without the live view on, but after a certain amount of time, the live view shuts off and the hdmi output stops until we hit the live view button again. So we want to either output to hdmi with live view off or keep live view from timing out. Can anyone tell us how?

d780 output to hdmi without live view or keep live view from sleeping
