Hi all,
I am looking to expand the number of lens for my D3500. I am interested in the Nikon FX 70-200mm f/4G ED VR AF-S.
Is this fully compatible with the D3500? As its Fx lens, with the d3500 DX sensor, will it effect the image? Is this lens worth it, as its a little more expensive than what I have paid before.
Hopefully you can shed some light on this.
Thanks all,
Luke

It is fully compatible.
If you get one and intend to use it on a tripod, remember to get the tripod collar as the relatively flimsy mirror box/ lens mount of the D3500 is a concern when hanging any front heavy lens from the body. The combo is easy to handhold, but putting the lens rather than the body on a tripod makes for a greater peace of mind.
