Does anyone know where I can get a remote shutter release for mu D3500? Do they even make one of this model?

Have you tried snap bridge?  It can be used as a remove release.

Yes, I have tried snapbridge.  It's just a little awkward to use.  I've seen some on Amazon that allows you to use time lapse photography which would be nice to do.  However, the connector for them doesn't match the outlets in the D3500.

I believe that SnapBridge is the only remote way to trigger the D3500.

I too wish there was another way!
