Using D750. Three different devices show no images on SD card. Images on the SD cards are only readable on-camera, and importable using the USB cable to a computer, but not with card reader. Reformatted cards and reset shooting menu with same results. Any thoughts?

Hi,
Three points to pay attention to, if the camera can find pictures, but you can’t while using other devices:

1/ the pictures are NOT stored in the main folder of the SD card, but in a subfolder of the folder DCIM.
> You need to browse to the subfolder(s).
Should you have multiple subfolders, then this is an indication that the card hasn’t been formated for a while (you mention you did, so this is for others who may read this thread). If there are multiple subfolders, some/most may be empty, but at least one should contain picture(s)

2/ the D750 and other cameramodels have TWO card slots. It is in the menu that you decide how they are used.
> Check the DCIM subfolders in both cards for pictures

3/ you may have taken the picture as RAW, thereby the camera gives it a different file extension (NEF). If you are using specific software to browse, it may filter f.i. on JPG/JPEG only, so not show NEF filetypes.
> Use the generic filebrowser of your Operating System, to browse the SD content.
